Question Few questions.

I just bought 98 GS4 with 118k miles on it. What parts I might need to replace? How do I check timing belt? I have BMW 540 and with that kind of mileage I would replace entire cooling system, fan clutch, etc. What kind of things go wrong with GS4 with this mileage? I heard many of them having problems with starters...

Thanx.

Once it snaps...it's not a pretty picture...Fortunately we haven't heard of anyone snapping their joints on the highway.

They're what powers your door lock. The motor goes out and you're left with a non-working power door lock.

my passenger side front window has been a little screwy lately but only when controlled from the driver side. anyone else had this happen???

you hit the auto down button and no problem, you hit the auto up and it goes up 7/8's the way up then back down to half automatically all at once. then you hit up again and same thing... but the third time you hit up it actually goes all the way up...

my shiz was fine until my friend started hitting the up and down window button like a little kid about 20 times until i told him to get out of my car... now its a little weird half the time.

he was just pissed cuz the night before in his old m3 i hit the down button while sitting in the passenger side of his car and the window went half way down and made a loud *** popping sound and the brackets inside the frame went all the way down but the window stayed at half mast if you will... now the window won't roll up or down on its own. he blames that shiz on me so he was trying to f up my car after i supposedly sabotaged his bmw by hitting the window down button once... not my fault his bmw sucks...

Why there's no recall on balljoints?

there's no recall bc they are typically good for 60-80K, but it's really ugly if they break!
