New to forum...need help
Just bought a GS430, 03...and need to start updating things and learn more about the car.....so here are my questions
1) The oem nakamichi non NAV radio faceplate paint is peeling....as if it was sprayed grey from the factory over the black.
any ideas how to respray or change that ?
Anyone else had this problem?
2) what is the most crtitical item I need to maintain/replace/update besides changing all fluids etc.....any particular TSB I need to ask my dealer to do ?
3) Where is the best place to buy parts and aftermarket stuff ? I live in Toronto Canada, so the closer to this location the better.....but I travel regularly to the Milwaukee, WI area....so that would work too.
Thanks for the help

1. I'm not positive about repainting the faceplate of the radio but CL members are always selling their stock head units for a reasonable price and the condition is fairly good on the pictures. Check out the Mobile Audio Classifieds
2. The first thing to replace is the lower ball joints. There has been horror stories posted about them breaking such as this one.
3. You may want to post this question in one of the Regional Sections where it is more area specific and the people local to the area can give you better suggestions. For online and hard to find items, CL members uses Carson Toyota aka L-Tuned parts who are very dependable and trustworthy.
Good luck.
Welcome
However; do check the ball joints next time your in for service and your car is on the rack.
Also, get a 90k service, which is timing belt, water pump, pulleys, etc...
Search 90k, there are lots of threads on this.
