Default Engine Emblem

Uh, so this may sound kind of weird, but I opened my hood today and i noticed the L emblem is missing from the engine cover! Weird huh? I don't want to sound ****, but where can I get that engine emblem? I can't find it on ebay, and i don't know if its worth going to the dealership and if the emblems are the same for the 2nd generation or the 3rd generation. Or should i just forget it and not be **** and call it a day? haha. Has something bizarre happen like this to anyone??

uh are you referring to the emblem on the engine cover?
if so, i'd suggest just go get another cover. if not, specifically which emblem located where in the bay?

I don't know if you can buy that separately. Measure it to see if you can fit a rear emblem on it.

I would trade you covers, but they won't fit, so there goes that idea.
Let me see if I can find the one I removed from my trunk and you can have that one, since I will never use it again. Just don't drop nail polish or key you car any more

well, yeah the emblem is on the engine cover--but its not like indented in. because when i looked, theres 3holes-- so im guessing the emblem is not the adhesive ones like the one for the trunk-- my guess is prob by driving on bumping roads, that the emblem just popped off and fell off somewhere, or someone could have stolen it when i got my oil changed, but i doubt that.

Weird...my engine cover was missing the emblem too. I've never had no one else underhood so I don't know how it disappeared . I bought another engine emblem from an IS300 but the little tabs are broken, but it seems to fit. I'll maybe just glue on there.

I looked at my engine cover today and realized the emblem isn't as big as I thought. I'm sure you can put a rear emblem but you will probably have to glue it on. I just picked up some 3M emblem adhesive on eBay for $7 and change.

yeah i think im just going to do that--because the one for the engine has like 4pins on the back that are suppose to fit into the cover, i cant really explain it, but its not glued on--so like i said--- i think just from driving the bumpy roads here and there, eventually the emblem kept popping up and fell off--so to those that clean under the hood, make shure you clean the cover and push down on the emblem so it wont pop off over time. just fyi.

heres what it looks like, to those that prob dont know what im talking about..

so yeah, i was just basically wondering if anyone knew where that emblem is sold.. otherwise i'd prob just buy a rear one and stick it on, if it fits.

You can buy a replacement and put back on there.

Odd all of you are missing the emblems. Though my 2nd GS didn't even have an engine cover, lol

Actually the rear emblem is a bit bigger than the engine emblem, I'm not sure if it will fit.
