Talking Transmission overheating solution!

Well, my car has been down for the past week because the transmission took a dump on me. Not 100% sure exactly why it did...but I have a hunch that my aggresive driving possibly lead to an overheating failure. The new transmission is coming in next week and hopefully this new solution will prevent any future overheating

So it goes from Intercooler > dual tranny cooler > AC Condensor > Radiator.

Next..retrofit some water pump so it sprays out a mist of water into the cooler when you reach a certain temperature

jeff remember that you dont want the tranny to run too cool cause that will cause problems as well

Trust me...I need this transmission to run as cool as possible. The 3400rpm stall heats things up FAST. As for running too cool...I use the Amsoil ART synthetic racing trans fluid. It has a very wide temperature operating range. It has no slip even on a cold start on a cold 30-40F morning.

Jeff they will help cool the tranny alot but get fans, trust me. Also I wouldn't mount them there. I had my huge Earls Tranny cooler mounted on my condenser and I started to have all kind of AC issues cuz of the heat that cooler would put on my condenser. My AC was colder while wind was moving through it as i was driving but if I was parked it wouldn't be as cold. I moved mine and added a fan and My AC has been perfectly cold ever since. Good luck man.
