Default Need help with fender clearance

Hey guys I bought Rdubz Trafficstars and I'm having some issues with the fronts. My driver side fender is *********** up from my friends attempt to roll them. So the passenger side we just shaved it off. Now when I had my car slammed on Tein CS-T with a 1 inch lower spring in the front I was tucking 1/2 the front tire. It had the perfect look I wanted, however I couldn't drive around with it that low. My tires were eating the fenders. So I just had to raise the car up cuz it was late at night already and my friend was tired. So my question is how do you 2GS guys that drive around tucking 20's mod your front fenders? Do i need to pull them? Oh yeah they are 20x9 +30 with Nitto 555 245/35/20. Should I just get 235 or 225 tire up front for a better stretch? Thanks

Try 225's and maybe a little camber.

I'm on SS all the way down on 19x9.5 +34. When I first lowered it, the tire kinda rolled the fender itself. I hammered it in a bit more and have no problems. I'm also on 245/35's.

Right now I'm not tucking tire anymore and have to fender gap is just like hovering over the tire. On certain turns on uneven pavement I'm still eating fender, resulting in fender damage on the right side. So now I have two messed up fenders.

So with 225's should i get 225/35 or 225/30? Thanks for the help guys!

225/35 is what I have and I think it is a small tire, I would not want to go anything smaller. A 225/35 will have a stretch, therefore should no longer rub.

With the new 225/35/20 Nankangs I have on the way, will I be able to use a 15mm spacer up front with out having to do a pull?

I think you will need to pull them, +15 on 9" width is pretty aggressive.

Yeah, but your offsets are much weaker than +15.

Go with a 225, and like Fonzy said, don't go any lower than that. +15 will probably need a slight pull. It's easier to turn the more camber you have.

So are other members, this post is missing information that could mislead tire rubbing issues. Like I have said many times before, there are other factors that cause rubbing issues.

Thanks for the help guys! I'm just gonna wait till the tires come in mount them and play with the camber. I scared to try to pull the fenders since my friend already messed them up trying to roll them.

Alright guys I'm in the same boat.

I'm running a 20x8.5 with a +24 offset with a 5MM spacer and a 225/35 Nitto 555 upfront.

My car is sitting right above the tire right now and when changing elevation of any sort on the road the tire with hit the fender. I have two instances with the tire has actually pulled the inner metal part of the fender "out" resulting in me having to hammer it back in and folding it over.

I'm gonna have the body shop roll the fenders, but I don't know if that will be enough to be honest. I'm not gonna run a 30 series as I won't last a week with my road conditions. I think I'm gonna need to pull the fender.

The question is, does anyone have any pictures or suggestions of how to appropriately roll the front fender and/or pull the front fender? Also, how do you adjust the camber upfront? Right now I'm at -2 degrees of camber but I'm gonna need more.... just don't know how to do get there.

Really need some help here guys and I know that some of you are running more aggressive offsets then I am up front.

To the OP: at +30 you are gonna need to roll the fenders. You could add a 5MM spacer, but beyond that you are gonna need to pull the fenders and run a 225 to make it work.
