the chin trick is definitely not bs. ask any electronics shop that installs remote starters in cars, they'll all say the same thing...its funny people still finding out about this but at the same time, why would you ever think to try it.
I upgraded to the Autopage RS-1000 color OLED display alarm w/ 1mi range. Works pretty good with nice range. I can usually still get a signal when I'm in the mall and car is in the parking garage. In dense urban environment I can usually still manage 1/4 mile range.
The more cavities you have in your teeth, the better the chin technique works. I swear to god I love seeing people unlocking there cars with the key stuck to the bottom of their chins. If only I had walked a few more step I could have saved myself from the looks and stares I would not have gotten.
I just tried two places today and could not find a battery. To confirm the code is CR1616 for the Gs400 right? I guess i'll try Advance Auto.. Any other place carries them? Thanks

Curious, does our keyless/alarm have an antenna wire? If so can't we add to it and extend it to a new location closer to the surface...
Yes, the receiving box is located behind the back seat, on the passenger side pillar (left of the subwoofer). It is behind the pillar, and It is a rectangle measuring probably 3x2 inches
I am going to look into extending the range by running a remote wire, if it improves anything, I will write up a DIY.
Im interested in this as well. I dont think it could be the battery being I just got mine from sewell lexus this week. I would assume they have new battery in them being it was brand new. Let us know about extending the wire.

a bit off topic, but found this out through a friend and tested. IT WORKS!
say you locked your key in the car (trunk) and your far far away from home. well lets say at home you have an extra key with the alarm switch on it. call someone and have that person place they key near their phone and press the unlock button. while your at the other end. hold your phone close to your car, say the handle. it should unlock the car!
