Default allignment problem?

my gs400 recently hasnt been driving that great. i had to get a wheel allignment twice over the last month. the car goes left to right and feels like the steering column is broken or something. the steering wheel feels real loose. it goes to the left while the car goes straight. I've tried switching the rear tires to the front but that doesnt help. anyone have this problem before?

I have been having a similar issue. It feels like it's floating or something... doesn't track. I have come to the conclution that it is related to my tires. I'm going to replace them soon since they are trashed and see if that helps.

How old are your tires? Are they cupped or worn in strange places? Did you balance them when you had them rotated?

Have your steering rack bushing and control arm (especially caster arm) bushing inspected. Whenever you have tracking problems, these two bushings (if very worn) will throw your alignment out the window regardless of how many alignments you get.

the tires have camber wear but i tried putting my rear tires(good condition) in the front and it still drove weird. the car just swerves left and right. i'll definitly get the bushings checked out.

Do you have a 98-00? Change the lower balljoints.

For the bushings, at least for the steering rack ones, just have the mechanic change them up sight unseen for the daizen kit unless you've already changed it. It is only $39-coupon. The labor cost that you will get charged to have them "checked out" would probably already be halfway to getting them replaced.
