Recently, I've been noticing that my two front windows act funny when I try to do auto up and then I finally saw it, when it goes up, the window shifts forward and I can see partly untinted windows.
If I roll my windows down halfway, I can move the windows back and forward a good 1/8" or 1/4". I tore apart my door, and everything is tight. I can see the track that the window sits on shifting if I move it by hand.
Is there a fix for this, or am I forced to pay $300 for both window regulators (the scissor looking things)?
Check the top sitting area for your windows. They might not be resting in the place they should be. I have the same problem with my driver side window, and it annoys the HECK out of me! I tore the weather proofing out, and replaced it. Took about 20 minutes, and $40 all together :P
I have the same exact problem, I dissembled the entire door, and couldn't find anything I could adjust. Its driving me crazy, and its leaking a lot of air at high speeds.
I keep having to push back on the window while closing.
