Thanks guys, thats what the Pepboy guy said when I asked for a fuel filter a while back, and I was a bit confused to that answer as most cars need a fuel filter replacement. I thought he might have been feeding me BS, but I guess this validates his response.

So all in all, I'm not gonnna touch it unless someone can give me a good reason too.

You can add one in less than 2 min if you really want to have a filter.

lol...I know what you mean. Excluding all those things I feel my car is still getting bad gas mileage. For example, I have driven a whole tank light to moderate (mostly light) and was only able to get about 235 miles until empty. The other day I punched it and it sounded like hot-roddish for a split-second up top. It almost sounded like I have an exhaust leak or something with my cats. Could this be??? I also need a new air filter. TB and MAF is clean; cleaned them about 2 mos. ago. Plugs are a little old. I might do that Seafoam treatment and throw in new TM plugs, fresh oil change and change the air filter. Any suggestions or comments?

The only thing I would suggest is try to stay under 3k, but I know sometimes thats hard

BTW that gas milage is not that bad. I get more than that, but most of my driving is highway. Also, my gear ratio is higher because of the diameter of my wheels and tires, which makes a big difference in highway speeds.
