It can stand whatever you throw at your motor. As in...the 2JZ-GE VVTi weaker internals breaking strength at approx 500-550rwhp. So 500-550hp or the max of stock internals is what that HG combo can do

Keep in mind 500-550 on stock internals is ONLY possible with a rock solid engine management. I wouldn't trust the stock internals too much over 400hp range on a flakey piggyback. But even at 500hp range with a solid standalone, you've still living on borrowed time. The stock internals are just not tough enough.

1.3mm w/ non-vvti gte rods and pistons is a good combination. 2mm would be nice with non-vvti ge rods/pistons

on a sidenote, headgasket has nothing to do with how much power the engine can produce and pressure it can withstand. It will only blow if you don't have coolant running through your engine.

Actually the headgasket has A LOT to do with how much power the engine can produce and withstand. The GS300 stock compression ratio is 10.5:1. Maximum safe level of boost at that compression is around 8psi or so. Some people play roulette when running 10-12psi range on stock compression. If you're lucky the head gasket will blow out before the internals get damaged. If you're not lucky, expect to have a piston or rod go through the engine.

Putting in a 2mm HG to drop the compression ratio to 9:1 will allow you to run around 15-18psi relatively safely. I say relatively because at that point it's not the compression thats affecting the longevity of the engine...it's the weak stock piston/rods that will snap.

jeff is right. but since i assume that you're going to put on a 2mm HG, i'm just telling you that if anything would blow, it would probably be your internals first.
