I had some MB Quart PWE302s 12" in my other 4 cars (Including 4 of them in that station wagon), but due to the poor sounding reasonation in the Audi I kept messing with the setting and eventually ended up blowing them lol. I want to get the timing belt service done and a quick run down before I throw the subs in. But the speaker situation was something I had to take care of immediately as I only had tweeters working in the car.

To the other poster who offered stuff for sale. I'm all set. I've got speakers installed and keeping my factory nav/cd changer. Thanks though.

Thanks again for all the nice comments.

Cool man, I have the same subs, not sure if they are PWE302 or PWE304 though lol gotta check ... what amp did you use to power them? I'm waiting for my Rockford Fosgate P1000 mono to come in so I can put it all in. I'll replace all the door speakers/tweeters/HU little by little ...

Great car, and you certainly didn't over pay for it. (Not unlke someone who has a Cinnabar/Black 430, but that guy will go un-named!).
That's a lot of car for a 20 year old, when I was that age, (a LONG time ago) I was immortal. Enjoy the car.

I used this to power my MB Quarts
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ugMs2ZV...+quart+raa2400

I still have the amp. I thought it was blown a few years ago. I go to hook it up again (like 4-5 months ago) and the amp was fine. The wiring in my first car was bad I guess.

In my 2nd-4th cars I used a Kenwood 9102d. Only gave them 500rms and didn't sound as good the MB quart amp. Remember these subs can handle 600rms a piece. If you sub is a dual 2 ohm you have pwe302s, if its a dual 4 ohm you have pwe304s. I also have the 4 channel of the same model. When my first car was crashed, I left the wiring and didn't think anything of it. But these mb quart amps actually make you plug it into a piece and then go into the terminal. Without the piece, there's no way to hook up the amp. So I either have to use one of the other. It sucks because the 4 channel is capable of doing 200x4 at 2 ohms, which would be good for a low end sub, 4 sub set up. Good luck with your system. After I do the tbelt service, mine will be in. I want to add alot more however. The next town over has one of the top 50 custom shops in the country by ME mag...so .

Despite however much you paid, Cinnabar GS' are hot. There is one in my area. Unfortunately, it only looks good in the front...the rear has seen much better days. I know it's alot of car for 20 year old, but it's okay when the 20 year has the mind set of the middle aged guy who drivers conservative and occasionally steps on it on open highways to only 95/100mph lol.
