Default 2001 vs 1998 GS300

A buddy of mine was in town for the weekend. He owns a stock 01 GS300 while mine's 98 lowered with 18's

Here are some pics in taken from the garage. Sorry the cars were unwashed. Notice the differences in the pearl whites

My pics of my buddy’s stock 2001 vs 1998 GS300

Should I lower my rear a bit more?

I think your ride height is good if your daily driving. Man your car is night and day with the stock white GS.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I plan to lower the rear by half an inch (i guess) next week.

I know this is off-topic, but what exactly are fender flares?

nice. i love the comparison between the two.

fender flares are basically used for your fenders to allow for wider wheels & tires:

have you done anything else to your GS300?

Thanks for the pic on the fender flares. Now i understand i did not have those.

I had recently rolled by rear fenders because my 275's were rubbing on high speeds.

So i can drive with a peace of mind now
