Like i said before, leather darkens within time, inner leather that is not showed is lighter, thats a fact. I don't think you'll get an exact match even if you go to the Lexus Stealership. When winter is over i'm getting the interior shampood, see if it makes a difference. Too be honest with man, i'am really happy the way it looks and what it costed me. A shade lighter or darker... beats paying over $300.00 My interior looks beautiful.

Regards,

Rob

Gonna drop my armrest at their place tomorrow. Its actually my armrest from my LS, not from my GS. Hopefully they will do a good job.

I'm sure any of yall can find a good upholstery place in your towns. LOL @ yall tryna ship stuff to NY. That's like shipping your shoes somewhere to get them fixed instead of finding a good shoe repair place locally.

I'd very much be interested in these folks price on a full front seat leather redo, both front seats and armrest, for a same vintage (1999 tan) GS3; if they will do it. Obviously, they would need someone to take in their local GS to make the patterns for a local car.

It makes every bit of sense to give your business to a remote shop if you know the work is quality and they know what they are doing. There might be leather shops in a lot of places, but I don't like being a guinea pig.

My local leather shop in Richmond, VA wants more than the dealer for a full set of front replacement leather.

Had the armrest in my LS400 reupholstered by this shop today. Amazing job, great quality, the texture/color match is about 95%... much better than the piece of crap leatherseats.com sold me a few years back.

Nope, I paid $60, but LS400 armrest is actually more complicated than GS430, because it has vent insert.

I'm gonna be taking my LS400 shiftknob to them sometime this week as well. They moved to New Rochelle, I have their new info, I'll post it later.
