ok i just bought a 1999 gs300 but it had a flip out tv.. i bought a radio off ebay (it fit and powered on) but no sound.. then i went to the amp behind the glove compartment and plugged in what he had unplugged (nothing cut) and still no sound.. any help please.. do i have to sync the new radio to my car/amp??

 

If the car has a aftermarket amp then check the remote turn on wire. If you have a multi meter than you can check to make sure you have voltage where needed.

 

no OEM amp.. but weird i was driving and it randomly started working.. im afraid its gonna stop again

 

check the connector in the back of the head unit
