Default Possibly blown Amp

Before I take all apart I needed confirmation that the Amp is gone.

I have a 2002 where I replaced the head-unit with Pioneer together with a Beatsonic. All worked well until a few weeks ago I lost sound in all the front-speakers. I do still have the sound from the GPS but when listening to radio and the like, all front is mute. Only the rear-speakers make noise but naturally that sounds awful. I have taken out the radio and checked all connection. They all are in order and in the right place. Has anyone had the same issue and was it fixed with a repaired/new amp?

Thanks for the help and/or advise.

There is a great DIY by VVTIBob. Search for 2012 Radio Upgrade.

Yes, that is the best thread to describe the procedure and not too hard to do. I found to extend the wires of the radio harness by about 12 inches makes installing even easier.
