last time I posted a picture of recaros in a GS, a bunch of people were calling it rice

As long as it serves a purpose, I'm all for it!

I wonder if the seats from a 3GS or 2IS would fit. I'd love some cooled seats.

I like RSX seats, but I don't know if I would put them in my GS.

Man o' manoshevitz...Anyone have more info on what it took to accomplish this job? I'm coming from an R32 & if you've seen those seats, you know how much I miss them!

I'd be happy if I could retain some of the power functions, but I'd go for having these seats regardless.

Anyone have the 411 on how hard it is to swap for Sparco or Recaro?

I would loooooove to put an AMG seat in the GS (after removing the amg badge of course)
Those things are comfortable and supportive.

If you're going to put aftermarket seats in the car I highly suggest you find a pair and sit in them before purchasing as some people just don't fit in these seats comfortably.

I've had the Sparco Milanos and they were nice but I was not overly impressed with them feel and build wise. If you want some nice leather aftermarket seats check out some Cobra Misanos. They might be abit over the top but the quality and feel, to me, blew the Sparcos away. Here are a couple pics of mine with the billet accessory option (the backs are carbon fiber so that might turn some people away from them but I think you can get the grey and black leather with a silver back).

I think it looks pretty good.

If you wanted soemthing just a bit more classy you could try the E36 M3 seats, but all the cats that jump on ppl for using "Infiniti" Rays wheels might bash you pretty hard.

Whatever you do, you're going to have to address the airbag light.
Actually, I was looking at E46 M-sport (or whatever edition it is in the States w/ the thigh support). the only problem is that it's power seats and looks like a PITA to fit.

oh yeah, I have infiniti wheels, surprise surprise.

those look great but the exposed carbon fiber's a bit too sporty for my GS. I've sat in the Milanos and fit my body perfectly actually. I'll have to go sit in that Cobra one though.

cool, thanks for the info! Yeah, it's the price that's worrying me. I want (need?) more ergonomic seats but everything is so expensive. That's why I'm looking to maybe re-upholster OEM Recaro to match my leather. I'll miss the butt warmer though.

I like the way the lower lateral support is on those sparcos, but the upper portion looks very out of place in a GS.

Euphoric, I tend to agree with you regarding the Sparcos, but those leather-clad models looked so much better then their normal version. Personally I tend to lean towards Recaro because they do fit my fat **** quite well.

However, after seeing your Cobra seats, I like the look, width & construction. Where did you score your set?

Old thread bump...

I'm looking to swap out my stockers... 11 years is enough *** time for them.

For those that wanted to know, IS-F seats are $4000 EACH!

So, for anyone that actually put in the Sparco Milanos... How do they feel compared to the OEM craptactular 2GS seats?

Any other suggestions as to which OEM seats to replace the 2GS OEM seats with? I'm leaning towards the Sparco's, but since I've never even seen them in person, let alone sit in them, I'm a bit apprehensive...

+ 1....even though the Supra looks nice, performance wise rather get Sparco..I'd my Supra seats a couple of year ago. It been sit in my garage for 4yrs, finally got rid of them...

CleanS14 has buckets in his car.

Bride Zeta III is the greatest bucket seat ever invented. If you want a performance seat, get that and then wrap it in whatever you want.
