Default Carpc in 99 gs300 help

I just purchased a 99 gs300. Car is bone stock and was wondering if there was a double din type opening for this vehicle so I can install my carpc from my old car. At the moment it has the stock lexus oem radio. I need a double din type oem radio bracket. Did any of the 2nd gen lexus gs models come with a double din opening? Also how do you know if you have the Nakamichi system in the car. I was tryin to look for speakers on crutchfield.com but don't know what is the difference in radio's. Thanks for the information in advance

Just order a double DIN dash kit off Ebay. Or you can get the OEM double din from Carson Toyota. Here are some pix of my setup. My laptop is actually under the passenger seat. The stuff in the dash is just the GPS, Audigy external sound card, automated DC-DC power supply, and other misc wiring.

Thanks for the pics. Did you get that double din touch screen at mp3car.com? or did you mold in your liliput? Also do you have a link to where I can get the double din face plate. I'm not familiar with these lexus sites since I'm just getting in to them.

I use a lilliput 629. An ebay special

What I did was to cut off the complete bottom part of the monitor housing (the button area) about 5mm below the opening for the LCD screen. This lined up perfectly when I put it behind the adaptor's with the trim-ring fitted. If you look carefully you can see ~5mm of the original liliput housing, then ~5mm of the trim ring in the shape of an upsidedown 'U', then the main adaptor.

I was in a bit of a hurry to put this together so there is no filler/sanding etc. but I am very satisfied with the result.

To control the brightness etc, I extended the IR sensor to the bottom right of the housing (tiny hole) for the IR remote, and I added a small button to control the reverse camera AV input.

I got my double din kit here:
