The Aristo TT uses a different tranny and engine than the 400, so I doubt its a swapable unit by HKS.

Real facts:

GS400 is electronically limited to 149. It will go aprox. 161 without the limiter.

HKS has a product called the Speed Limit Defencer, it works on all the V8 GS I believe ... I don't remember where I saw it but I think it was about $200 ... Try searching for it

Speed Limit Defencer = SLD, they are about $200 or so new as stated above.

SLD is based on your engine code. So find one for the 1uz, not the 2jz.

If they offer one for the 1uz that would of course be the way to go, i don't remember seeing one for that model on the applications list but I could have missed it. If they don't offer one for that exact model is more what my previous posts addressed.

The GS400 has plenty of RPM left in 5th gear.

Foul language isn't needed to tell someone they made a mistake.

I was wrong, with stock gearing and tire size 149 is ~4800 rpms.

getting above 149 is quite a risk...I took my Supra to 171 and that was one of the more immature testosterone driven times in my life.....but I would suspect that the GS would handle the speed well....of course I would highly recommend some suspension mods to keep the car from bouncing to much.

1. If CL "blows" maybe don't just put Infiniti wheels on your ride, maybe go to their forum and participate there. If you have an issue with the member, you can report the post and let us sort it out.

We all can communicate in a manner conducive to a good debate and one where people learn.

Everyone chill out or infractions will start flying.

Here's where I wrote about the rally: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=319647
I believe it has the details.

I am still interested in this if any one has specific info or link.
