Dash light dial - Replacement

The only issue I found on my new GS is the Dash Light ****.
It is pretty much on or off, once it stayed off and wouldnt come on.

Would like to know if you guys have replaced this part before.

it is supposed to light up?? wow i didnt know that, i guess mine hasnt worked since i picked up the car
