No problem buddy I try to help as many fellow members as I can. To answer your question with regards to difference in performance of my car, I can tell you that I indeed noticed a difference in performance. Throttle response is more immediate, idle rpm went up a notch due to the cleaning (no more rough idle), slight change in engine sound at wot, my GS just feels more freer revving. Here are testimonials from other members that had the service done through meets I've organized

I also had my fuel injectors cleaned, the right way. This was not done by just adding some Pep Boys injector cleaner into the tank. This was done properly, by adding Run-Rite directly into the fuel line straight through the injector, and running the engine at about 1500 rpms intermittently with idle for 35 minutes to clean thoroughly. I saw smoke billowing out of my exhaust and could tell the effect of the cleaning agent. On my drive home, my car has signigicantly smoother acceleration, smoother start up, and in it feels a little quicker through the upper range of RPMs. I also had them clean my throttle body, on second thought, I can do that myself next time since they didn't do anything that I couldn't have done (thankfully didn't charge much for it either). Many thanks to Sean (DASHOCKER) for setting this up, and even though I didn't get the maximum benefit of group pricing (since 1 car isn't considered a group ) It was still cheaper to have this done here than anywhere else, and they did a great job.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=AMSOIL+MEET

The canister is sold seperately. This system is intended for professional use only. You can try to order the products here for diy.

So what does the dealer charge for this service? It sounds like a $100 gamble that I'm willing to take to see if it minimizes my rough idle! Plus, it can't hurt.

Always run Top tier gas(shell, exxon, google top tier gas)! Run Shell in my vehicles and over hundred of thousands miles never had any injector problems. All top tier gas are high detergent fuels. Use Chevron Techtron fuel additive every 3k to 5k. Should not have problems with needing fuel injection cleaning. Are you having issues that make you think injectors are dirty?

Lucas and others are fine, but the key to injectors IMHO is using top tier fuel. Bargain gas is not a bargain if you are looking for 300k plus.

Hey, it deleted my text reply for some reason. I was saying that I like doing preventative maintenance since that car is almost 20 years old. I run shell vpower and sunoco premium, and occasionally use that Lucas. I am researching cleaning the fuel injectors because theres nothing really else i can do to my car at this point, i've done almost everything already.
