Default Coil packs?

Where do you get them from? I called the dealer and they are 96 bucks each my cost,"whole sale". D@mn I didnt want to spend 500 bucks for a tune up. Plug wires are 17 bucks each. Do use guys use OEM or aftermarket? Car has 150km and a little bit of a rough idle so I figured it needs everything. Thanks for any imput.

Unless you have problems with them, the coil packs are not tune-up items. They rarely rarely die on you. They aren't like spark plug wires that needs to be replaced. Even if you have problems with the coil pack, usually it's just one or two, not all.

Thats my thinking as well, but with the loss of performance and rough idle I figured do it all. I just dont want to spend 300 bucks on them. I dont want to tear it apart and not do them then have to go and do it later. I'll spend a couple hundred but d@mn all total its like 500 bucks for everything. Looking for quality after market I guess, anyone.

Well you need to verify that the coil(s) are dead otherwise you'll be spending money for nothing. If one is broken, then fix that particular one. Dont replace all of them. Do you get any check engine light?

Rarely do you get anyone here having coil problems. Lots of people have at least 200k miles on them. It's' not even a wear and tear item.
