I ordered a shell and guts for my moms LS430 off ebay when she hit a mailbox for less than $150. Had my buddy paint it for free and it is perfect.

My passenger mirror shell is cracked. I bought one off ebay for $38. I have searched and found write-ups for LED full rewiring but no write-up for a mirror shell. Wondering if i can do this without removing the whole door panel etc... ?

Check out the DIY links at the top of this page..... It would be easier to access the bolts for the side mirror if you remove the door panels.

Yeah i went through the DIY thread and searched and didn't see a mirror shell removal from the outside of the vehicle. Would save a lot of time. There are 3 Phillips screws on the bottom but not sure that that would get off the shell. Not to mention i would need a right angle driver to get in there. Thanks for the reply though, I will find a way
