Question tire size......

As you all know i have an GS400 and the standard tire size stock is 235-45 17
i dont really like the look of the 45 and i think if i get 40 (235-40 17) the rims and tire would look much better...the tire looks much better wrapped around the rims with the 40 so yea. Would it affect the ride in any way? i tihnk it would be an bit harder ride

Yep - you would have a little harsher ride. How about going with 18's and getting 245-40-18's. These look nice.

^^ yea thats an good idea (also with 19's) but as oh right now i love the stock look of the 17's that come with the GS400 and i am not changing them as of now so yea. So should i stick with the 235-45 17? or go for the low pro 234-40 17 tires? ( they make the whole tire and rims package look an bit better and also it would look more square....but would it leave too much oh an wheel gap with the fender?)

p.s
My car is in my Sig...thanks

I would stay with the stock size.

You would have more wheel gap with the 40 series tires and loose some of the comfort and your speedo gets off too. No pluses here - just minuses for me with the 40's on the 17's.

Gs tires are already small, not a good idea to make them smaller. Im running 245/45/17 myself, adn loving the added traction from the wider tire.

Not to mention, wheel gap, and harshness.

its off topic, but you should take a look at the sig rules. Your sig is huge.
