My 3rd brake light and the brake light on my spoiler both come on simultaneously. I've noticed that my spoiler light is not as bright as most other GS's i've seen. I wanted to know if i were to remove the 3rd brake light bulb(s), would the light on the panel indicate a light is out? Also, do you think that my spoiler light would then appear brighter?

I've been dealing with this issue for a while and am finally getting around to it. Any help/thoughts/opinions appreciated.

FYI, i just got my first ticket for no front plate - HOORAY!

 

wait youre running the interior 3rd brake light and a brake light in your spoiler? wow, lots of lights. anyway, ya, i'm pretty sure if you pull the bulb from the interior brake light, the warning light in panel will lite up. there's a thread in here do disconnect that panel light. took me about 20 min to do-easy. after i did it, played w/it some more, shouldve only taken about 5 min.
