I need to VENT!!!.........
So I decided my first mod on here was going to be new wheels. I struck a deal with another member to buy their 08 is350 satin finish 18's.......I had to wait for him to get his car in from Lexus.....he ordered it.....then I paid him in full after I sent him a deposit......He waited a week later and then calls me and says that he can not sell them to me because his girlfriend doesn't like the aftermarket wheels he bought. WTF.....deal is already stuck paid for and done. Ship the M.F's I'm still in shock and he called me hours earlier. I've never been done this way. When I say something I do it and I expect that from others. I don't think that's to much to ask. Don't post your wheels for sale if they aren't!!!!!!!!! What do you guys think I should do now??? I feel like just cusing the guy out!
well he said he was going to paypal it back as soon as he got home....but it's not there yet! I called he said he was at dinner and would do it tonight. If he doesn't I will probably BLOW UP!
Make sure he does the Paypal refund(there's actually a feature called that) instead of just sending the money back normally. That way papyal won't take a cut of your refund lol.
eh...It happens man. Not the end of the world. I know exactly how you feel though. I bought some really nice Profounds from some shop in Canada. They called back 2 weeks later and said they were "stolen". They lied. Anyways, Hope you get your $ back man.
yea.. sucks.. i had a similar situation with some coilovers on CL. The guy told me he was shipping them.. I waited a week and was trying to get an address to send funds and he never answered.. then i bugged him enough he answered one of my phone calls and told me he sold them a week and a half ago... it sucks that people waste your time and get your hopes up, but hey!, its not only you man. It happens... I agree with the get some better wheels comment. It'll work out man. Dont sweat it.. just get your money back and consider yourself lucky.

There is one rule in life when you have a signifigant other : If she ain't happy, you ain't happy. Can't mess with that too much. I would feel horrible as that seller tho.
Oh well ish happens. Just hopes he gave you the money back.

Kev, things happen for a reason bro. Just be glad you're supposed to get your funds back. I had a deal with someone (not through CL) go bad recently to the tune of $2k out of my pocket. I was told I'd be re-paid in time and so far all I've gotten back is $750 (it's been like 3 months). Like others said, it's not just you man. Ish happens...as long as you get your dough back be thankful and just try to move past it
well, at least you get your money back.
but when there is a transaction, I mean, when money is already paid, the item should be sold, even if the seller doesn't want to sell it anymore, it is consider SOLD! therefore, if the wify doesn't like the aftermarket wheels, sell them and buy stock ones from Lexus again, but your original wheels are sold!
