I'm having problems with my door lock actuators on my 98 gs400. I know these are a common problems with these cars. I checked ebay and there is listing for a aftermarket actuators. my question is has anyone tried these aftermarket ones and has any success with these? I might want to try these out since the new ones are very pricey.

Most aftermarket actuators are pretty noisy but very reliable. I have been using them for 13 years now and only had to replace two of them. They work well but I personally would not put them in my lexus even though I can buy them for 5 bucks.
