I own a 98 GS300 without HID lights. So anyway I figure why now buy a kit from ebay for like $400 and save some money. So I bid on two kits in a dutch auction and won. So I send the guy $800 plus shipping and didn't hear from them for almost 2 weeks. So I was pissed, then the guy starts writing these e-mails that they were shipped already. Then I call for a tracking # and they say "Oh well we couldn't send them yet because one bulb was broken and we wanted to get you a new one" so I said ok and then they said for the inconvience they would next day air them. So that was on Friday. Then they still haven't come yet and the guy tells me that there is no point in next day airing from New York to Connecticut. So I'm like ok **** this guy. Then now I still haven't seen the package and he says he'll send my money for shipping back. I contacted Ebay's fraud department and they are investigating. The place that was selling them is some shop, I forgot the name in Brooklyn, NY. I don't even know what to do with these *******s if the package doesn't come tonight. Any advice???? And if any CL members live in NYC don't ever go to this **** hole.

dont worry man... i think they will come but not on time... it pisses me off too i've had many things not shipped on time.

i only ordered one thing from ebay before... some subs and an amp and they took forever to come but they came....

 

His feedback was pretty good, but I catch the guy in many lies and he always changes his story

 

It gets even better. I just got the things in from UPS and the first kit was mint. But in the second kit one of the ballasts had stripped screws in the corners and a fried and burnt bulb. I am gonna ****in kill that bastard. I may take a trip to NYC this weekend **** this ****.

Hey that is messed up man, sorry it happened to you. I live in NYC and I can tell you there are some shady a$$ people here.

 

I understand how you feel, the same thing happened to me. I sent this guy money for some speakers and an amp through Ebay and after I sent the money orders, he majically disappeared. All the contact numbers that e-bay gave me were fake and he closed his e-mail account as well. I sent the guy over $700 and I was pissed. I called the local police department and filed a case with them. I gave them all the information I could about him, and about 6 months later, I got a check from the city and a letter letting me know that he was prosecuted and I wasn't the only person that he did this too. They were actually on to this guy for a couple months. I thought I would never see the money again, but 6 months later, I got it back.

What kind of remote startb do you have? Is it an add on or did you have to change the entire alarm system? Everywhere I go, shops tell me that the would have to disable my factory alarm and install a totally new system for at least $300. Theres gotta be an add on remote start kit that i can get. does anyone have any suggestions?
