whats up folks. noticed tonight that one of my HIDs is out. coincidentally its on the same side that the dealer just replaced the housing. what are the chances that the dealer will replace it under warranty? i ve heard that they can cost cost as much as $500 to replace. that is something that im not trying to hear. anyone have this problem and if so was it replaced under warranty? thanx in advance.

Chances are good that you will get it fixed under warranty. Just bring the bill from the time the dealer worked on your housing for proof, if you need some.

I just noticed that you're in Atlanta, what dealer are you using? I live in Cartersville, GA myself (In Macon at Mercer University right now).

thanx, rex. i use hennessey in chamblee b/c its close to where i live and its a damn fine drink my old roommate used to live in cartersville and i think i may have to come up there to get my drivers license, since its like a 4 HR WAIT in the metro area. i appreciate all the info from you guys. hope it works out. if not then i guess my L-tuned will have to wait for a month or so.

I'm glad you mentioned getting your lecense. Don't go to Cartersville to get it, the wait is always horrible. It may be too far for you to go, but when I needed to get my lecense renewed I went up to Calhoun. It's the same exit as the outlet malls so if you do go all that way you can just go shopping too, if you like that sort of thing. Another one I know of is in Forsyth. It's either exit 185 or 186 off I-75. No wait there. May be worth the drive.
