Question quick Question

Hey, I just received my new rotors today and I installed only the front ones to test them out, with semi metalic brake pads. Took the car out for a spin and did some braking tests from 30 to 0 and 40 to 0 after about 5-10 min I drove back to the garage and the brakes were smoking and i was wondering why? Any comments are well apreciated. And another quick Question i tried to upload some pics of my car but i got an error maybe they were to big anyone know were I can upload them to resize them.

i hope that's the right directions to break in the pads/rotors that you received? all pads/rotors have certain ways to break them in, usually by doing hard 60-5 braking to pad in the pads to the rotors.

and smoking "can" be normal, there are usually coats on the rotors to protect it from rusting before delivery to customers. as long as stuff are broken in correctly that's fine

Wow tx alot! and yea these rotors require soft braking from 40-0 a few times.
That helps lol, my dad started yelling saying that the rotors were were wearing the pads off to fast and he was telling me i just wasted money. Tx again!
