Default TTE lip question

Hello all i have a 99 GS4 and i have always wanted TTE lip and i am just about to order one but this weekend i saw another GS with the lip & what seemed to be side skirts & possibly a rear. Will the TTE look better with sides & a rear or can i just run it by itself. I don't want to take away from the class of the car by leaving something needed off. I also plan on upgrading my wheels from the SSR's to something a little bit different but want to stay 19's.

What is the best look TTE lip with sides or TTE lip no sides?

Either way will look good, as long as the sides are conservative (e.g. RMM, L-tuned)

i run my car with only TTE lip. But to make up for it, i have the JP 3piece spoiler and Blick roof spoiler.

I took a similar path. I didn't really want a full kit, so I started with only the TTE lip, and supported it with a roof spoiler and factory wing. TTE has a rear lip that looks real nice and even to the front lip, so you coul get that and a conservative skirt later on for a complete look.

Here's mine:

Same here, just the lip, nothing but the lip

Does your car have a spoiler factory/aftermarket? The profile of the car would look uniform if you had a spoiler to go along with the TTE lip. Remember, the TTE lip extends the bottom edge of the front bumper.. Unless you are looking for the snow plow effect

I have the factory rear spoiler which i plan on keeping. I also plan on adding the UGO roof spoiler and a TRD grille. I appreciate the pics especially the silver GS since mine is silver. Now i just need to get it and some new wheels

I like what Sleeper408 did with his. the small lip on the back looks good with the TTE front. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ghlight=wheels

I have the Explosion sides and rear and I always get compliments on it's 'classiness'. There are a lot of GS's with just the lip and spoilers (wing and roof) and they look very clean. Ultimately, it's up to you and what you have in mind for your GS.

Hey you should come out to the Varsity tomorrow evening. There is a big car meet every first Thursday. SELOC is meeting there and we have a pretty nice spot.

Hey Lexism we met at the Varsity meet back in June i think it was. I fell in love with your car then. Just really don't bring it to meets because it wasn't worthy yet. But if time permits i might swing through in the future.
