Is it true that there's a defect on the trunk led lights? I called my friend that owns a shop in ALhambra, and he told me that they are back ordered because of the defects..i dunno which brand he is talking about but can someone chime in on this? Thanks.

 

As far as I know. Only Sonar makes the inner LED's. I was one of the very first people to buy the 4 piece set(Nov 2006) and so far no problems.

I've got 3 sets of inner leds from sonar...haha had to find one that matches my outters. I finally found a set and haven't installed them yet. I haven't had problems with the darker ones though...

 

Junction Produce makes them also...unless its OEMed.

 

Sonar is the manufacturer.

the only problem with them is that they set off the brake light on the dash. That is the only problem which can be solved by either taking the light out the dash or getting resistors.

 

I bought my 4pc set in january and Im like Jeff no problems yet

 

I got the sonar/wise outter that do not set off the dash indicator light. Haven't gotten the inners yet, where can I get the resistors for the inners to avoid the light out indicator?


Does Carson have Sonar inners the don't set off the light out indictor?

 

We only have the outers as well, these do not set off the light. In regards to the inner lights, these will set it off. They only made the inners one way,sorry
