Just a quick one, I did do research but nothing pertinent showed up, would the 1IS stock 17" wheels fit the 2GS?? I spoke to a rep at tirerack and was told that the offset and center bore is fine but brake clearance might be an issue. Would they clear the breaks? I have a set of 1IS wheels laying around and want to use them with winter tires.

 

yes it will, if you have stock brakes. but the offset are even more conservative, and the wheels are narrower

 

i think the is wheels are 17x7 or 17x7.5 where as the gs wheels are 17x8. if you have some lying around, just use them.
