Default Need Help on (new) purchase

First off I'd like to say thank-you and I will be glad to be back as an owner of another Lexus. I wandered away for a bit but now I'm coming back. Thats where I hope to get a little insight.

My Options are: 99 GS 300 with 187k and starter, brakes, alighnment,
timing belt done.
or
95 LS 400 with 102k and brakes, timing belt done

I use to own a 94 GS 300 and foolishly bought a Mercedes E420 and have regreted it ever since. I can get my hands on these for around 7500.

I hope sum1 can help and thanks again

IMO the mileage is a huge factor. if you can live with the fact that the 95 is 4 yrs older the difference in mileage more than makes up for it. 85k difference is about 4 yrs worth of driving for most people (on avg.)

both have high mileage. but if you have to choose, i'd choose the LS w/lower mileage. if not, i'd keep looking.

Unless you are in absolute rush to buy a Lexus, I would shop around.

there has been some GSs that have gone 300k plus. however, how bad do you realy want the GS over the LS
the LS has great mileage, but no snow mode

102k for a 95 is great milage, that's 8,500 miles a year. low is 12k and lower a year, average is 15k-17k a year.
