Exclamation Car shut off and started back up normal.

A buddy of mines just picked up a gs430 last weeek, so we was riding around today everything was good and smooth as suppost to be, but out of nowhere his engine shuts off, so we pull over try to start it back up and it started back up like normal and drove home like nothing happened. I found this wierd as hell and also as a Gs owner myself I would like to know has anybody had this freak issue before?

Ditto!
Happened to me when I first got my GS as well.
Turned out to be a bad terminal connection. Battery disconnected and bang. dies no the highway.

Dirty MAF, dirty T/B's and failing IAC's can cause a stall condition

Well I never had my car actually turn off on me while I was driving but im having issues with it starting. So like I got a new battery and went to check if it was the alternator and they said it might be that but I was also told it could be my iginition and somthing about the laser from my key.. idk... So ya but sometimes it will start up fine and other times I have to keep trying until it starts..

These cars dont have IAC's, but your issue is most likely a dirty T/B.

would at least kill the batt after running , fuel issue i think , does the fuel pump make priming noise inside the car as well as the outside ?
