Default car died out when in park position

today i was at walmart and i put the car in park. it all of a sudden turns off but all the lights and air con was still on. i figure maybe i jus turned it off *been all all day and tired because girlfriend went inside walmart to buy sumthing*. then while on the way home at a red light the rpm drops kinda like its was about to die out but went back to normal. everything was all fine on the way home.
does anyone know whats wrong? any suggestions? i was thinking its the spark plugs. anyone? thanks in advance.

Maybe the MAF sensor is dirty. Have you ever cleaned it?

My landcruiser did this about a year back. I would have them check your battery. Sounds like your battery is not charging. It can happen.

yeah, i had both scenarios. battery was not charging properly and the maf was dirty. replaced the battery and cleaned the maf and everything has been great since.
