So I was driving my cousin home from a birthday party and some F?!Ktards decided to run a stop sign and collide into my car . They then proceeded to jump out of their car and run away. That's Oakland for you I still don't know the status of the people that hit me, but I'm thinking that it's a lost cause. Worst case, I have to pay for the damages out of pocket. I can't decide whether the car is totaled or not; my boyfriend says its over. What do you guys think?









Sorry couldn't take better pictures. Long story short, guy rammed into us going 60mph, head on. Even the hood is dented with my moonroof still opened, and the trunk is now misaligned along with the doors. I'm clinging on to a false sense of hope.

Most likely those guys that hit you were driving a stolen car. I don't see any other reason why someone would haul *** on foot lol.

 

I'm hoping it was because they were drunk. There were housekeys attached to the car. Everyone is telling me most likely they were illegal immigrants. I know it too, but I'm in denial.

 

And you don't know Oakland. It's a regular thing out here, google it sometime.

 

If you have uninsured motorist coverage, insurance might cover for you.

sorry to hear about your accident. don't worry though, in general the gs300 cars are a dime a dozen. it's the clean ones that are hard to find. there are a few for sale in the classifieds and i think some may be in norcal.

yea, its a definite total, the warped roof, and strongest of all the misaligned trunk/doors indicate a completely bent chassis

if the cars legit it shouldnt be TOO hard to catch the guy but it is oakland so

Sorry for your loss. Glad to hear that you are not hurt. All things will work out and you will replace your GS with another one or something better.

 

It doesn't sound good, if the car is tweaked all the way to the trunk as you described, it's a loss. I hope you're able to get this resolved with no out of pocket costs. Good Luck.
