Hudini if you have a digital camera take a pic of the chrome grill on your Jade GS.. I'm trying to convince a buddy of mine it would look sweet with his paint colour.. Thanks in advance!
Sasha I should sell you my stock 17 chrome wheels.. Then you can do your grill buddy..

Helpful Hint
I just did my DIY chrome grill and it looks phat BUT...it took way too long. I decided to make the vertical ribs chrome, both front and sides. The stupid paint on the sides was way harder to get off on the front. Plus all the masking tape time.
Just rub your paint remover on the front of the vertical ribs, wait about five minutes (I used marine paint remover) and rub the paint off. It leaves a pretty decent edge too. Make sure to wash off quickly or the paint on the sides might start coming off too and ruin the edge.
Hope this saves a few of y'all about 3+ hours.
Late.

Hey 2Savvy that's what I'm talking about.... double team Sascha to get him to chrome the grill....LOL I will post a pic as soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera. This mod definitely makes the front end more classy.

Today I have been to 2 Home Depots and they did now have either the Super Degooper or the Jasco paint remover. They didn't have any gel type paint remover. Are they any other brands that will work just as good??

Ok I went on Home Depot's website homedepot.com and I found a product called Citristrip (see picture below) and this would work perfect for doing your grill.. Test a small section before doing the whole grill to make sure.. A tad more expensive at $7.97 but the time you save will be worth it.. Safe for indoor use too..
