Default Nav question

OK, I love this Nav system. Took me staight from CA to NY without a hitch. But a question, on Marked Points. Why does it ask for the phone number if you cannot even pull it up at a later time? Only was to do so is to go through the Edit function to pull this up or am I missing something? I know you can pull up INFO on the stored info but this option does not come up for stored Marked Points.

yes I think you can only view that phone number when you go through EDIT.

It's pretty lame. And the limit to the number of letters you can use for the marked point name is lame too!

COLOR IS THE LAMEST!! I wanna change the color!

Color of the icon on the map?

I use different icons for different things on the map. Wherever my wife shops I have a $ sign.

One thing I find lame is why can't I see even the name of a marked point on the map? I don't know of a way to see any information about a marked point on a map. Even going into edit you don't know which marked point on the map corresponds to which entry.

that's a very good point. Marked point function is only good to a certain level. If you can move the cursor onto a POI to see what it is, why not make it like that for a marked point?

The color thing i'm talking about is the background and button scheme colors for all the menus, including NAV, audio, climate, etc.etc. light brown/yellow background, some green text, and other nasty colors certainly don't impress me. When it's in night mode it's cool, but day mode's brownish yellow pisses me off.

2001 DVD NAVs improved on the color. I hope there's some kind of hack into the NAV that'll make it adjustable colors.

I like how MBs have that blue color.
