18" or 19" wheels require even a moderate drop.

Welcome to CL and congrats on the purchase. I can tell you from experience that 19's without a drop doesn't look good. You just might get away with 18's and no drop.

Okay I'm giving in. I'm thinking about doing staggered 18's with Tanabe NF210s. Now I have two questions for you guys. With this set how much should I cut the stock bump stops and will this be okay with the stock shocks? I don't plan on racing nor driving over aggressively.

Oh BTW I got it for $10,000. The guy originally wanted ten then dropped it to 9, but I insisted on bumping it back up to 10. I've known the guy my entire life. I've watched how this car has been driven and maintained for and I know it's worth well more than this.

you will not need to cut any bump stop off. the NFs come with new bump stops.

Congrats on the purchase...if you didnt already order the kit I would of suggested you looked into doing a retrofit for the GS as opposed to buying an HID Kit.

Good luck with all your mods...

Yeah I thought about that, but it seems like tons of work, and although I'm pretty handy, cars/electronics scare me. I do plan on doing the HID kit by myself(yeah big time...I know), which I already ordered. I'm picking up some springs from a fellow GS member on Saturday and hopefully getting them installed on Sunday. New Tanabe Springs+Labor=$300. A steal, I know! Anyways thanks for all the comments, I'll keep you guys updated on the modding process and hopefully will be able to make it out to a meet soon.

yes, the gs3 and gs4 have the same suspension components.

tanabe's are great springs, but their warranty process sucks. ever thought about eibach?

Cool, went to go meet a fellow CLer today to pick up a new set, but got cold feet when I found out they were for a GS4. Time to call him back and set up another meeting time.
