On my way to the Lotus Festival here in Los Angeles, on the i-5N. I got sandwiched. The car in front of me stopped all of a suddden due to traffic so I slammed on my brakes. Thanks to Lexus cars, I stopped in time. I look behind me and saw that the car behind me( Ford Focus) stopped in time also with smokes coming out of his tires, and as I looked more, I saw that a Toyota Tacoma was coming way too fast. I told my GF to hold on and sure enough, BAM! The Tacoma hits the Focus and the Focus hits me, and I saw his whole car jump onto my bumper.

Thankfully no one was hurt. The Tacoma was totalled. The Focus has major rear end damage and front frame pushed in. but my car... Left side of bumper cracked, top of bumber in the midd section cracked with paint falling off, rigth tail lights cracked, left tail lights cracked, nothing happened to my trunk. Unbelievable. I actually saw his car jump on my bumper, and thats the only damage I took.

I had the car on sale, but hopefully this won't hurt my sale, since Im getting new led taillights, new bumper, clear side markers, chrome trunk bar, JP spoiler, Ugo roof spoiler, and MAYBE I doubt it, but paint job. Depends on how good of a negoicator my auto body guy is. It's still for sale but most likely not until end of the month. Same price at 20K.

 

whoa, 2gs is seriously cursed. there are 10 members before you got rear ended this month. glad everything's working out for you...why are you selling your other gs?

Sorry to hear about this. I am one of the other members that got rear ended. My car comes out tomorrow. Good luck with the rapair.

P.S. With all the damage you had, I also had a bent up trunk. Adjuster gave me $4500. So figure your repair will be about the same.

 

I have 2. both the same year same color 2002 gs430. So I figured I just sell this one, and fix up the nsx.
