i still wouldnt sell it because its only "$12K". Its not like your getting $50k from selling it. Lets say you sell it for $11k.......... what are you going to drive? a $3K car? so you come up $8k? doesnt make sense, if it did, we'd all sell our cars and buy property....

 

It's a great choice as long as you don't end up with a car payment after you buy the house. You would be better off doing 100% or 80/20 financing than ending up with a car payment.
