looks like they took the inner lights from GS and moulded them in, look at the outside light the line looks wrong

also look at the bumper you can tell its not right

the GX470 looks like highlander lights on an LX470

 

this article was in canadiandriver.com though so it seems as if it would be a real vehicle.

my dealer and lexus mechanic did tell me about this
the GX is a mix of Rx300 and / GS
more manly then the RX300

It is 100% real and it is coming
they didnt have a release date for me

 

If that is what the actual truck will look like, then it's really sad. I think the "Golden Age" of Lexus design is coming to an end. That thing looks like the bastard child of an MDX and an LS430, IMHO, and that's not a good thing.

 

I saw that this morning too. I work for another jap. co. and from what they told us it is pretty much spring of 03 deal for us hear. That photo looks like a photoshop morph of a LS470 and a RAV4. That corolla looks like a knock off of the civic.

 

I LIKE THE NEW GX470 from what little I can see so far.

It's about time Lexus gave us something in between the RX300 which is great, but a Soccer Mom's car and the huge LX470 which is just too expensive.

I am looking forward to this more rugged yet refined GX470. You should always have a car and a SUV in the family. I realize now how much my wife's 4runner comes in handy moving items back and forth.

I don't have any patience to wait for the new RX300 redesign, so if the rest of the GX470 looks good, then it's my new replacement to our 4runner.

Lexus V8 is so sweet. I do hope they up the HP a bit though. I think the LX470 only has 230HP, but over 300 torgue. The more power the better.

Also it's about time we had some type of equivalent to the QX4 and others in this field.

The Toyota Land Crusher Cygnus is the exact same thing as the Lexus LX470.

 

Land Cruiser Cygnus=LX470

This is supposed to be somewhere between the RX and the LX, it can't be the Sequoia cause it's bigger than both of them.
