Default Poll Which oil filter do you use?

I know that there are lots of discussions out there about oil filters but, the market is changing so fast out there that most are out of date. Which oil filter do you use?
The YZZD3 is a current part number based on Toyota. Does anyone justify buying the $20 TRD filter?

Default 90915-20004

these are supposed to be the best oem toyota filter. my understanding is they are what came originally on our cars but toyota discontinued them in the US because they cost them too much to make. there's a link somewhere that shows a 90915-20004 cut open next to a YZZD3 and there is a pretty noticable difference in quality.

I did not realize that we could even get that filter. Is is worth the 12.95. It is my understanding that the 20004 is just like the TRD filter?

Thanks for the link to http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2217

USE CL code 20004 on the order form to get the discount price of $10.79ea (shipping not included)

I've used only these since I found out about them. Which reminds me, I only have one left.

I was using the K&N filter mixed with Mobil 1 15k oil, but since the AutoZone next to my house started carrying the Mobil 1 15k filters, I switched to those as well. I don't change my oil at 15k, but I don't do it every 3k.

I usually use Mobil 1 but I switched to K&N just this once to see what all the fuss was about. I voted Mobil 1 just because I've changed oil with that 3 times already and only the most current change with K&N + Amsoil

I actually used an extended length oil filter to get more filtration capacity and surface area...take a look.

If you do some research, the mobile 1 and amsoil have the best filtration of all oil filters made. The articles did not include OEM filters. From the reading that I did, the K&N was on the same level as fram, not very good at all.

I personally use the AMSOIL filters.

Ive mostly used the K&N oil filters but I did use a Mobil 1 filter once. Mobil 1 synthetic is how I get down.
