Default JET Performance Chip

Okay, I searched on here for a thread discussing this product but nothing came up. If this product has already been discussed here can someone point me to it. If not;

1. Has anyone used it if so, what are your impressions?
2. Anyone have a Dyno numbers base/tuned to report?

I know for a fact this product works well in most domestic and some imports vehicles. Just never saw it on a lexus, I am looking at getting the SRT/ECU but just wanted to do research, cover all my bases.

This chip did wonders on several mustangs and acura of friends of mine especially the mustangs. Almost a 20hp increase on chip alone on one dyno we did awhile back. Also great on domestic trucks. Thanks for your advise in advance.

My only personal experience was with my Corvette:

1/4 time went from 14.4 to 14.2 consistently (8-12 Track visits) almost 30 total runs.

My Average MPG went from 19 to 16 consistently.

Could never really "Feel" the difference.

With the GS4...I think I get more "Feel" the cheaper way of just resetting my ECU about once a month.

Plus I'm too paranoid if anthing goes wrong.

What exactly does the JET chip do when it comes to tuning? Does it remap your fuel curves?

I would imagine an SAFCII can do the same, if not more since you're able to fine tune your car with the mods you have.

I Tried my own ECU reprograming...tried.

I have a family member ...a LEXTECH

we were in the LEXUS Dealer Shop and tried some ECU Tuning...

I Have no Idea what he was actually doing. He Plugged in a Lexus Toyota Laptop, Started Reving, Calibrating, Typing, Took it out For a couple wide open throttle runs, slowed down ...then more Full Throttle runs...more typing.
He even did something with the Navigation screen...it was reading Japanese

The car felt quick as ever. MPG went from 17 down to 13 (according to the TRIP computer screen. Quick, snappy and HWY Total Instant Power! Kinda scarry.

This lasted about 2-3 weeks. I think the ECU recalibrated itself back to "normal" settings.
