Default Axis Shine wheels, whaddyall think???

Gentlemen, I'm in the market for a set of wheels. I'm not looking for the 3k and up sets that are 3 piece, my budget just doesn't allow for that right now. So I've decided to go with Axis, inparticular the Shine model.

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/shine/shine.html

I am thinking 20 x 9 and 20 x 10. I like the machine finished face, and the gunmetal accents will look nice with my graphite grey exterior. I'm going to be dropping it on Tein CSs. Do you guys have any ideas of how this combo will look, and does anybody have these wheels on a 2GS or pictures of them on our ride? Thanks in advance guys!

Drew

suggestion, you might want to see if someone can p-chop it for u.
also, i think those spokes are too thin for the 2GS.

just my 2 cents, but then again, we mod for ourselves, not others. GL!

I've seen it in 19's on a GS and it looks great. 20's would be perfect.

I was thinking the same thing, I definitely can't afford a BBK right now, but it could be an option sometime down the line... I'll have to check and make sure that the offsets are going to clear a BBK for the future. Do you guys have any thoughts on offsets? I'd rather not do any fender modifications, but obviously I want them as flush as possible...

saddle, i say check D2 for any GB specials. Call Derrick, he's a great guy and very patient and helpful. (i was probably a pita w/him when i got my wheels) dont forget, if you like it, do it. mod'ing is the owner's taste, not others.

Nice looking wheel I agree about the Pchop idea. It will help you get a better look at what they will look like on your GS

I like those but everything underneath needs to look very nice since it's always going to be seen.

you may wanna check on it. if i am not mistaken that model was discontinued. maybe it was ust the wholesaler who i went through did not have them on stock or on his list to order. they were on my top 5 wheels list! def go with them if you can! i really like the way that these look esp with a BBK set up and rotors. it brings out the details when you can actually see all the upgrades you make and the thin spokes almost disappear when you are rolling so all you see is the BBK. just my $0.02 but mod to your tastes! we'll support you either way!
