Does anyone know if the 6000k is actually as purple as the audi/bmw hid bulb...I've got mine on order thru www.suvlights.com but they are seriously lagging on the order. ($275 for D2R bulb which is a 6000k hid bulb)

Wasn't sure if you ever got a kit yet, but I found a 6000K HID kit in various applications on ebay......looks like you can get it for around $420.00. I'm looking for a kit for my GS300 also....looks like the real thing

I have the K2 kit. Here are some pictures...
My car is on the right...the purple one. The car on the left is an Accord with the normal Philips HID's.

Don't bother getting the HIDS, they won't help the looks of your car. After market joints don't look good, not like the genuine thing.

 

The hid's on howiedoit's ride look pretty tight to me.....only thing is in the picture they don't appear to be as bright as the standard phillips (4200K?) on the honda on the left??????? Now I'm *really* confused.................

the left one is on an accord... (all spread out hid going all direction.. not good for oncomming traffic....cops dont like it)

which is more focused hid because it uses a projector ????

dont sc's come with projector headlights...

 

Correct. The headlights on the Accord are not projectors and I honestly think he needs to reaim his headlights. They are TOO blinding. And yeah...it looks like his are brighter.

But check out my before and after pictures. HID's definitely do make a difference...
