Default RMM grill owners

Was your "L" emblem slightly bigger than the oval on the grill that it mounts on?

And did you drill holes into the grill for those 4 mounting posts on the "L"?

I dont have a RMM grille, but i might be able to help you on this one. The emblem size changed in +01, and was made a little bigger. That is probably where you are noticing the difference. You can purchase an emblem for a 98-00 for a better fit.

The rmm grill should have came with the L. Otherwise you have to use the Trunk L to fit.

The L is slightly smaller than the oval.

It came with the grill so I don't know about the drill holes. I'll try to take some close up pictures.

My RMM grill fit is perfect, I bought it from another CL member and it was just the right size, Can we get a bigger emblem?
I think it would look nice.

photos might help explain your dilemma. my friend has the rmm grille and it came with the L. he doesnt have any probs with the L; other than the typical fitment issues of lines off from the hood.

GRAND LS4 is on the same page as me. I should of described the problem in more detail so everyone else would know what I'm talking about.

My L came unattached to the grill, and it's bigger than the oval it mounts on, so there's going to be some ugly overhang.

Did the emblem they gave you have litte posts sticking off of the back of it, like ones you'd have to drill holes in the grill for?

Thanks for the compliments. There are no notches on the L emblem. The L that needs to be used the the trunk L like I said on the previous post. You do not swap the front L to the RMM.

Bad news.. I shattered my Greddy lip last week. However Im glad it saved my bumper and the fog light. Freaking re-tread tires on the freeway

No, it's not the front emblem. Carson sent an emblem with it and it just must not be the right one. I called my dealer and ordered a trunk emblem today.

Sorry about your lip
