heres my modding process...the funny part isnt really the amount of parts already in a pile, i think its more how this things never gonna know what hit it as soon as it gets home. if i could install all this **** while coasting down the highway at 100mph on the way back from when i pick it up tuesday, i would. hahaa

i just bought an 03 blue onyx pearl/black leather gs430 about 6 hours ago. mint, ML/nav/43k mi. i have NOT picked up the car yet, it is still at the dealer. sitting about 20 ft from me, already here, is the following:

-tein CS v2 coilovers
-SRT intake & ECU
-tte stb
-tte front lip spoiler
-Lsportline rear roof spoiler
-Borla exhaust
-brand new extra set of oem green tint headlights (bought them for the gs400, never ended up putting them on before i sold it, so now i will probably glue them to the hood and have four headlights on my new gs, sweet plan.)
-JDM window visors
-junction produce grille (on order as soon as TLW reads my response to his pm! read it!)

ill throw some stock/after pics up in a few weeks.

I'm the exact opposite, I always do wheels then suspension then aero because one thing determines the need of the next.

If you do suspension, then wheels and the car is not low enough, then what? If your lucky, adjust your coils and pay for a new alignment, if your not (ie, if you have just springs), then you shelling out for new suspension, new install, new alignment, etc etc.

I know WAY too many people that put L-tuned s/s on their car and thought the height was PERFECT, until adding 20" wheels. Then the front gap is too big, etc etc.

I have to agree, I always prefered to get wheels before suspension. a car dropped on oem wheels just never looked right to me..

Boost is expensive lol. It's about 40% of the money I put into my car...and I do the work myself too so no labor charge.
I think I'm right around $10K of mods now lol. Oh yeah I didn't list the small bs mods...aka anything under $100

Here's my modding order from beginning to end:
Custom Retrofit Headlights
L-Tuned Exhausts
Tein Flex
HID Foglights
TRD Sways F/R
Front Strut Bar - Ebay Brand
LED Taillights All 4 Pieces
Custom CarPC
Hardcore System: JL 12W7 & MB Quart Q-Series 6.5 Components
TTE Front Lip
Daizen Steering Bushings
TURBO!
Upgraded Headgasket and Headstuds
Blitz TechnoSpeed Z1 Wheels
Rear Underchassis Brace - Ebay Brand
Methanol Injection
Upgraded Fuel System

Mods to come:
Rotora 6piston Front/4piston rear BBK
Vertex Body Kit
Forged Pistons and Rods
Upgrade Valvetrain
6-Speed Manual Transmission Conversion
TRD LSD Rear Differential
Maybe some new wheels...

Notice how towards the end of my list, most of the parts are engine related lol.

STOCK! WooHoo OEM Height and Rims!!!!!!
Oh, but look there's retro's on there...heh. I did that set about a month after I got the car lol.

How the car looks now!
