Default First Detailing

Today was the first time I detailed my car. Did do everything that I wanted to do to it because it was just too much work & time consuming. I washed it twice, clay barred, polished, then waxed. It took a total of 6.5 hours for my car. I helped sister's boyfriend do his yesterday & we even had to continue and finish it off in the morning. I think that I did a nice job. I took the pictures while it was getting dark so the pictures aren't so great.

Last picture of my car. For some strange reason... I had to resize this thing to a pulp in order to upload it.

Nice work! Did k2motor get back to you on those tail lights? And is that a DIY chrome grill?

They did get back to me, but it was just too much trouble for me to go through all of crap they wanted me to do. I had too much going on at the time with finals & family things. I can deal with it for now. I guess when it really gets to me, I'll fork out the money & buy the inners separately. And yeah, it is DIY chrome grill. I followed GATO's DIY. Although one thing that I would have to add is to let the stripper sit a little longer, about 5-7 minutes or maybe more. When I did it, I was so scared that it would strip the chrome off too. But I had to let it sit longer.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Hopefully when I do get a garage, I can fix up all the door dings & bumper scratches. Living in NYC is hard for your car.
