i want to add the greddy front lip spoiler to my silver 98' gs400. this part is under $200. what is involved in install and how much does it cost at the dealership? thanks

 

1 person can install it in around 2 minutes. 2 guys around 20 seconds. Snap it on and screw it in.

 

Is there any drilling required?

There are 2 holes inside the fenders (I think)

 

Yep - two, vertically arranged, where it bolts to the inner front wheel fender well.

You maybe able to see it in my pic-crazed posting just after I got mine installed

nah. The Greddy front lip is not prepainted.

RA is correct; the lip comes as unpainted black polyurethane...

I have one Greddy lip in stock, if you decide on it you can email or give me a call,thanks. Very simple to install, but you will have to get it painted to match.

 

I am looking for a nice inexpensive bumper for my GS...the front bumper is about the only thing I don't like about the GS.

Do you guys know of any front bumper that's not that expensive...I am talking in the $300 range? if its more than that then its not really worth it cause its just a bumper afterall

 

For $300, you can't get any quality bumper to be honest with you. The greddy front lip is an inexpansive mod that alter the look. For $150, I'd say it's a pretty dern good deal.

 

yeah but I don't like the greddy lip...how about a bumper for less than $500....I probably still won't get it but atleast I know something that's close to my price range

 

For $500, you still could not get any quality imported bumper.

How about TTE's lip spoiler? It's around $300.

WALD's lip spoiler costs around $600.

There are lots of knock off bodykit as there was one on EBay earlier. The whole kit costs you around $800. It's republica and I just don't trust American republica fiber glass kit.

There are good quality domestic bodykit, RMM for example but it's still over your budget.
